Welcome to SafeMeal. By using this app, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Important medical disclaimer
SafeMeal does not replace medical advice. The scores and alerts provided are decision-support tools based on the information you enter and available product data - they are not a diagnosis, prescription, or professional medical opinion. If in doubt about an allergy, intolerance, or any health condition, consult a healthcare professional. Never use SafeMeal as your sole protection in case of a severe allergy (risk of anaphylaxis): always check the product packaging yourself.
2. Using the app
You may use SafeMeal for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not use it unlawfully or attempt to harm its operation or its users.
3. Account and accuracy of information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information entered in your profile (allergies, sensitivities, diet). An incomplete or inaccurate profile may result in a score that does not correctly reflect your situation.
4. Premium subscription
SafeMeal offers an optional Premium subscription (monthly or annual), billed and managed directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, with automatic renewal unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your store settings - refunds are not handled directly by us, but according to Apple's and Google's own policies.
5. Intellectual property
The app's content (design, text, code, SafeMeal brand) belongs to us. Some product information displayed comes from third-party open databases, subject to their own licenses.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". Product data displayed may be incomplete or outdated; we do not guarantee the completeness or absolute accuracy of calculated scores.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from use of the app, including a dietary decision made based on an incomplete or incorrect score or alert. SafeMeal is a support tool, not an absolute guarantee of food safety.
8. Termination
We may suspend access to the app in case of violation of these terms. You may stop using it and request deletion of your account at any time (see our privacy policy).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Any significant change will be communicated via the app or this website.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law.
